St. Nicholas Day LiveCD gift!

It's Saint Nicholas Day and highest time to update the LiveCD. Plans have changed and I decided not to release a stable update of KDE 4.3.4 but instead to update to the latest preview of the upcoming 4.4 version - KDE 4.4 Beta1.My personal Desktop with KOffice KWord 2.1.0 Surprise surprise it's stable! It works! It has some bugs of course but not of the type that you see at first sight. The kernel's got updated too - it's now the latest 2.6 kernel - 2.6.32 desktop edition for PLD Titanium. Of course the system's got updated to current Titanium snapshot as well. There still is no Installer present in this compilation but if you hardly insist I'll try to patch Chrinst to use kdialog and put it on the CD. Also in the making is a USB version of this LiveCD, but I can't tell when it comes out. This will probably be just a tarball with a little shell script to self-make it boot from USB stick.

I hope you'll enjoy this little gift and report any bug you encounter. Have fun and have a wonderful St. Nicholas Day.

KDE 4.3.1 - as unstable livecd available

This is the last unstable update as I had it planed. This release has no more Anaconda support and not yet Chrinst on board - I'm sorry for that sincerely, but I'm still working on an kdialog frontend for Chrinst 0.8. I hope it boots properly as I hadn't tested that. Download it at your own risk and send in any bug or feature you noticed or you'd like to see in the future. Hopefully have fun with it. Regards.
